2026 is off to a flying start for Scott and the Scott Dunn Orchestra, and we are thrilled to share some of the highlights with you. From the stage of The Wallis to the pages of the LA Times, it’s proving to be a landmark month for celebrating the power of Hollywood’s film music.

TONIGHT: MONSTERS, MURDERS, SPIES AND SPACE

Tonight, January 17, the Scott Dunn Orchestra returns to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills for their third concert. The SDO will be taking a deep dive into the iconic sounds of the 1970s. From the haunting melodies of The Godfather and Chinatown to the suspenseful scores of Taxi Driver and Murder on the Orient Express, it’s a program dedicated to the composers—Williams, Goldsmith, Barry, and Rota—who defined a generation of cinema. Find out more about the concert here.

IN THE NEWS: THE LA TIMES

We were honored to see the Los Angeles Times feature Scott and the orchestra this week. The piece explores Scott’s mission to bring "background music" into the foreground, proving that these cinematic masterpieces deserve the full attention of the concert hall. Read the full feature here.

NEW MUSIC: TWO MAJOR RELEASES

For those who can’t join us in person, you can now hear Scott conducting the UK's Britten Sinfonia at home.

A Solo Premiere: Scott has also released the first single, "Three Scenes from To Kill A Mockingbird," from his forthcoming solo piano album. The full solo project will be available everywhere on January 23rd. Stream the single now!

Thank you for your continued support and for sharing in this musical journey with us. We hope to see you at The Wallis tonight!
